Pier 7 should be the largest nightclub of the Levant.

It is located on the roof of the Lebanese Industrials Association building that was built in the early 90’s. Today, the structure is abandoned and stands decapitated. The successive political governments during the post war era have neglected the industrial sectors. Ironically, the proposed night club should be located on the last floor of the discarded structure that we chose to partially demolish. Beirut, the entertainment capital of the Middle East, should score high in the booze business…The industry is gone, long live the industry… The project consists of layers of topography stacked on the 4,000-square-meter roof creating an artificial mound that hovers over the coastal skyline. The city’s flamboyant entertainment habits are displayed and celebrated though various and sometimes contradictory instances that constitute the marvelous spectacle.
